BRAIN Workshop Information
Workshop Times:
- Wednesday, June 17 (1:00pm to 5:00pm)
- Thursday, June 18 (8:00am to noon)
Note: Both workshops are identical.

Description:
The BRAIN workshop will introduce participants to the BRAIN controller hardware, its capabilities and programming methods. Various hands-on labs/exercises will provide participants with valuable experience using the BRAIN Wizard, creating a custom BRAIN program (in C), and testing programs on actual hardware.
Workshop Regulations and Restrictions:
- The registrant must be a teacher who has participated in BEST at least one year.
- Only one BRAIN per school.
- In order to qualify for the workshop, you must be registered for the conference.
- Each workshop participant will be allowed to have a “buddy” with them at the workshop. The buddy can attend the workshop at no charge but should be registered for the conference. The buddy should be associated with the teacher’s BEST team (a parent, mentor, another teacher, a student, etc). Include workshop “buddy’s” name on your BRAIN registration form.
- Teachers must be present and participate in the entire workshop to receive a BRAIN to take home.
- The teacher understands that, after the workshop, their hub is NOT responsible for repairs on their personal BRAIN device.
